Larry Melton is an experienced photographer and videographer. As a novice photographer in the 70’s, I learned the basics of photography and film development from mentoring with other photographers. Later, formal training increased my skills. In the 90’s, my wife Terry and I, operated a home-based wedding videography business. My passion for photography can be traced back to my love of nature, and my desire to share this love others. I have a keen interest in wildlife, landscape, and fine art photography. Another interest of mine is documenting festivals, such as the Texas Renaissance Festival.
I began my venture into digital photography using Fuji cameras, but later switch to Nikon products for their advance features. As my experience and skills increased, so did my inventory of lens and camera bodies. I currently shoot with a Nikon D850 and a D610 backup.
I retired in 2019, and my wife and I are planning numerous trips within the United States to capture the beauty of this country and to share it with others. Your comments about any of the photographs displayed here are welcome.
“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.”
